The My Pathway Story

My Pathway represents the coming together of a family group of companies to better reflect the strengths of the related entities, where the team is greater than the individual. Our focus and history within the group is concentrated on delivering high quality services in remote communities throughout northern Australia.

The strong growth of the group since the first entity commenced with New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) funding in 1993, can be attributed to the efforts of past and present staff under the direction of the current directors Chris O’Brien, Gary Johnson, and Nicole Oke. These proud visionaries continue to work on growing the business founded by Ken O'Brien (Chris and Nicole's father) nearly 20 years ago.

My Pathway represents the culmination of this cooperative approach and is the umbrella under which the group will operate. By combining the strengths of each of the companies we will be better positioned to serve the people with whom we work now and in the future across our remote footprint.

The My Pathway Group comprises:

  • Enterprise Management Group - which provides essential professional and management services
  • ITEC Employment - a leading remote JSA provider
  • ITEC Health - providing Health related services
  • Safe Pathways - providing supported child protection services
  • Training Connections Australia - Registered Training Organisation
  • Remote Staffing Solutions - Labour hire company
  • Community Apprenticeships Australia - links career seekers into Apprenticeships and Traineeships - Principal Employer Organisation
  • Indigenous Pathway Solutions - an Indigenous-owned company which conducts Indigenous Work Readiness programs in the Western Cape region of Far North Queensland
  • Arts Enterprises Australia - facilitating Indigenous Arts Programs for communities

Our philosophy is to encourage a family approach to all that we do and those who we support. It is through the family that we are strongest. When working with My Pathway, you are working with the combined strengths and experience of these companies and the people with whom you are familiar. This brings a depth of service unparalleled in the remote services sector.
